Tong, Linda, MD

Dr Tong grew up in central Michigan. She obtained a B.A. with Honors in biology and M.D at the University of Michigan. She then did her internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota and went on to complete a Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at the University of Southern California.

Dr Tong has been practicing gastroenterology in the Quad Cities since 1996. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in gastroenterology. Dr. Tong is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology and Illinois State Medical Society. She is a past president of the Rock Island County Medical Society and is on the Board of Directors at Gilda’s Club of the Quad Cities.

Dr Tong is married and has 2 children.
